Bought another $500 car, this time its blown. Literally. Or maybe not.....
The owner was selling it because it needed the coolant refilled every 5-8 miles. She was told by two seperate shops that it had a blown headgasket. Upon inspection there was a leak from the upper radiator hose, after a little screwing around, the hose snapped clean off the radiator. Before that happened I took it on the road there was no lack of power or anything like that. Now Im thinking that theres no gasket issues at all and once I replace the radiator I can sell that diabolical pos.(If youve ever driven one youll understand)

If it’s a C230 they sometimes leak coolant from the right tear corner of the head gasket, but not very quickly.
They’re fine to drive if strong and suspension are in good shape, which they probably aren’t.
